Kindness in thinking, creates profoundness.
Kindness in giving, creates love”

Having a child can be a relatively easy undertaking. Being a parent, on the other hand, takes everything.
The Slow Parenting Movement has grown from my desire to give families permission to be still and pause, to reflect and find, in that, a place of gratitude and awe. This culture of over scheduling, over achieving, and questing for a perfection (that does not exist) is undermining the confidence of parents and creating a generation of children who are being robbed of the basic tools of self discovery and exploration, that could sustain them through school and beyond.
The Village Well represents a place of community where families gather to observe, play, learn and step away from the pressures of our technologically driven lives and find a place of simple and uncomplicated refuge. It takes courage to be a mindful, slow parent, but the satisfaction and joy that will be at the core of your family’s life will be one of the greatest gifts of your parenting legacy.
